Nuclear Engineering Major

Nuclear energy is derived from nuclear fission/ fusion and utilized to generate electricity from nuclear power plant. Nuclear power plant is state-of-the-art in engineering, which requires mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and material engineering and

so on. The Nuclear Engineering Major equips students with the basics of nuclear reactor engineering, the method of designing nuclear reactor system, the basics of thermodynamic and fluid mechanics.
